Jose Ortega Elementary School is one of San Francisco’s best-kept secrets. Our talented, energetic teachers use activity-based instruction to challenge students to reach high academic standards in literacy, math, and science. We integrate the arts, English language development, technology, and science into each classroom’s core curriculum.

Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:50 am to 2:05 pm
Wednesday: 7:50 am to 12:50 pm
Dress Code: No dress code. For safety, students must come to school in closed-toe shoes — no sandals or flip-flops. Come in clothes appropriate for the weather.
Attendance: Attendance is vital. Schools lose out on funding when students are absent. This includes students who are excused or unexcused. More info can be found here.
